SUMMARY : We are looking for a Training Specialist to join STAFFVIRTUAL. You will identify training needs, design and organize training programs, and support employee development. Your responsibilities include creating an annual training plan, developing instructional materials, overseeing learning sessions, and conducting new hire orientations. You will assess training effectiveness, collaborate with departments, manage projects, and report to the HR Director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Detect training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
2. Organize trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career path.
3. Develop and build annual training program and prepare teaching plans.
4. Create and manage the production of handouts, instructional materials, decks, and manuals.
5. Manage structured learning sessions and monitor their quality results.
6. Introduce new employees to the business and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
7. Monitor training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees' work behavior.
8. Review ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes on a regular basis.
9. Keep informed about new trends and tools in employee development.
10. Propose and handle projects within the department, collaborate with other departments.
11. Prepare recommendations and reports to the HR Head.
12. Prepare and submit monthly reports to the HR Head.
13. Represent the department in business meetings and quarter reviews.
14. Other tasks, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. 2-3 years experience of working in a Training Specialist position.
2. Significant experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting.
3. Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
4. Good experience of organizing the full training cycle.
5. Good practical experience with learning management software, MS Office, and databases.
6. Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques.
7. Close familiarity with talent management and succession planning.
8. Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI.
9. Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
10. Good ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
