Are you the one?
As Agronomy Health Responsible, you will manage and supervise the integrated pest control of the farm, ensuring that the applications of cultural practices, biological agents, and chemical products meet safety and efficacy standards. You will develop and implement innovative plant health practices, including optimizing procedures and using precision technology to protect and improve blueberry production on the farm located in Cariñena, Spain.
Your role highlights - your responsibilities
Technical Management:
* You will plan and assign tasks to operators to comply with protocols adapted to the crop.
* You will monitor and collect weekly data on pests and diseases in all crop sectors.
* You will coordinate visits from external technical advisors and communicate improvement proposals.
* You will manage and control the inventory of phytosanitary products.
* You will acquire and receive necessary chemical and biological products for the phytosanitary program.
* You will supervise the proper mixing of products according to requirements and the program.
* You will ensure spray nozzles are in good condition and free of obstructions.
* You will monitor applications to ensure complete and uniform coverage.
* You will maintain and supervise the condition of application equipment (tractors and other implements).
* You will ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by operators.
* You will comply with health and safety protocols in all operations.
* You will train and supervise the operator team in safe and effective application techniques.
* You will ensure application activities are carried out within the legal framework of working hours.
Operational Management:
* You will supervise the execution of integrated pest management to ensure accuracy.
* You will coordinate and conduct monthly inventory counts, reporting any shortages or waste.
* You will implement and supervise waste management procedures according to health and safety principles.
* You will conduct annual inventories for audits.
* You will report on performance and compliance with established protocols.
* You will collaborate in the continuous improvement of the farm's operational and phytosanitary procedures.
* You will participate in the development of plant health strategies through precision technologies and a focus on sustainability.

Requirements
* You have higher studies in Agronomy, Plant Health, Agricultural Engineering, or similar.
* You have proficiency in Spanish. Knowledge of English or other languages is highly valued.
* You possess previous experience in managing integrated pest control in crops, preferably in the fruit or berry sector.
* You are familiar with the use and management of phytosanitary products.
* You have competence in application technology (tractors and spraying systems).
* You have knowledge of occupational health and safety standards in the agricultural sector.
* You have experience in inventory management and stock control.
* You are a proactive person with the ability to lead work teams.
* You have high motivation to improve productivity and quality in blueberry production.
* You have the ability to implement and promote innovation in plant health through new technologies and sustainability.
* You are committed to compliance with quality and safety standards (e.g., GlobalGAP).
