Market Development Manager – Consumer Compute, AI & Gaming
Description: The Personal Systems Consumer Category team is seeking a Market Development Manager to lead Consumer Compute, AI & Gaming Solutions in France, Middle East, and Spain. We deliver exceptional Consumer Compute & Gaming solutions with cutting-edge design, performance, and ecosystem integration. Setting new standards and creating unforgettable experiences for consumers and gamers globally.
The mission is to level up the Market Category, Sales Team, and rest of the key stakeholders with in-depth knowledge of HP gaming solutions, develop strong 4P plans, and support execution in countries. Our focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion fuels our culture, innovation, and growth mindset.
Responsibilities:
1. Build & Execute 4P plans for Consumer Compute & Gaming Solutions at the country level.
2. Support country needs and execute business plan with given constraints, alternative solutions.
3. Be the spokesperson for market asks within the global central teams.
4. Align within Global Teams on existing solutions, ensuring market-specific requirements are included in Global Portfolio.
5. Continuously monitor Technology and Competitive landscape and collaborate with Product team to ensure HP remains ahead of the technology curve.
6. Collaborate with alliance partners to build strong growth initiatives.
7. Develop and implement end-to-end New Product Introduction plan across Category, Marketing, Sales, and PR.
8. Establish strong relationships with Top Retailers in the market.
Education & Experience Recommended:
1. Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related discipline or commensurate work experience.
2. Typically has 7+ years of work experience, preferably in business development, sales, marketing, product marketing, product design, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills:
1. PC Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the AI PC & Gaming industry, including market trends, player preferences, and emerging technologies.
2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to gather and interpret market data, consumer insights, and performance metrics.
3. Project Management: Strong project management skills to effectively coordinate and prioritize multiple marketing initiatives.
4. Marketing Strategy: Proficiency in developing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored specifically to the market.
5. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Language: Fluent English, Fluent French, Fluent Spanish
Impact & Scope: Impacts large functions and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects.
Complexity: Provides highly innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.
