We are seeking a Head of Data & Analytics COE to lead and drive the data and analytics strategy for a rapidly growing FMCG company under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in Riyadh. This is a senior leadership role designed for an experienced professional with a proven track record in data management, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives.
PS: This role requires relocation to Riyadh/Saudi Arabia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build, lead, and manage a high-performing Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) team, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.
Leverage data to identify, implement, and optimize use cases that drive measurable business value across marketing, sales, and operational functions.
Develop and execute strategies to utilize AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning technologies for business transformation.
Oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of data warehouses and advanced analytics platforms to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven insights are embedded into company-wide strategies and initiatives.
Own and drive data-driven initiatives and projects over a 2-year roadmap to build and scale the company’s data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights that align with corporate objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence, with at least 5 years in a Director-level leadership role.
Strong academic background with a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
Proven track record of leading data and analytics teams, developing strategies, and delivering value through data-driven use cases.
Strong expertise in AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data technologies.
Experience in leveraging data to drive marketing and sales strategies .
Solid background in data warehousing and advanced analytics, with the ability to integrate AI into strategic decision-making.
Expertise in CRM systems and leveraging data for customer insights.
Experience in driving data governance and compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with the FMCG sector and its unique data challenges is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to build and scale teams, with strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent communication skills to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
European candidates are preferred with relevant expertise.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
