The Head of IT Governance is a key role within the IT department, designed to align all IT areas with the strategic objectives of the department and the organization. This role combines both strategic and operational responsibilities, leading governance, project and service management, and acting as a strategic partner to the CTO on high-impact initiatives.
The role also serves as a facilitator for developing emerging capabilities and ensures that IT delivers business value through solid frameworks, shared methodologies, and continuous improvement processes. Additionally, this person will directly take on leadership and successful execution.

Training sector company located in Manresa is searching for a Head of IT Service Management & Governance.
Your Functions
1. Design, implement, and manage the IT governance framework to ensure alignment of all IT areas with the strategic objectives of the organization.
2. Supervise and prioritize portfolio management, ensuring that initiatives generate business value and align with company priorities.
3. Work closely with the CTO to define and execute IT strategic planning and strengthen the organizational maturity of the department.
4. Act as a facilitator between IT and business units, fostering constant and effective collaboration to ensure IT meets their needs and priorities.
5. Lead the definition and monitoring of policies, procedures, and key metrics to evaluate the performance of IT services and projects.
6. Manage a team of IT Project Managers and Change Management to ensure effective project delivery within established timelines and budgets.
7. Act as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM), ensuring IT delivers the right services with expected quality and cost standards.
8. Perform the role of Service Owner, overseeing the quality of delivered services and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Manage risks related to services and projects, mitigating potential negative impacts and ensuring efficient management.
10. Serve as Project Manager for selected key projects, taking direct ownership of planning, execution, and delivery to meet strategic objectives.
Position Requisites
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years leading teams and managing projects and services.
3. Experience in roles related to IT governance, BRM, Service Owner, or leadership in project offices.
4. Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, portfolio management, and results-oriented with the ability to implement continuous improvement processes and change management.
5. Ability to lead and align multidisciplinary teams with clear strategic objectives.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
7. Proven experience in defining and measuring key metrics related to services and projects.
