Land Acquisition & Institutional Relations Manager – Iberia (m / f / d) Full-time

Responsibilities:
1. Lead the search, evaluation, and acquisition of land for the development of renewable energy projects across Spain and Portugal.
2. Conduct detailed assessments of potential sites, considering factors such as land use, environmental impact, access to infrastructure, and local regulations.
3. Navigate the regulatory landscape in Spain and Portugal, ensuring compliance with local land use and environmental regulations.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local governments, regulatory bodies, landowners, and community groups.
5. Build and manage relationships with key institutional stakeholders, including government entities and energy regulators.
6. Collaborate closely with internal development teams to ensure land acquisition aligns with broader business strategy.
7. Lead negotiations for land agreements, ensuring favorable terms while addressing landowner and community concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 10 years of experience in land acquisition in the renewable energy sector.
2. In-depth understanding of the land acquisition process and regulations in Spain and Portugal.
3. Strong negotiation skills with experience securing land agreements under complex conditions.
4. Proven ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
5. Solid knowledge of the renewable energy regulatory environment in Spain and Portugal.
6. Proficiency in Spanish is required, and knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
7. Willingness to travel frequently across Spain and Portugal to visit potential land sites.
