System-Hardware Product/Quality Assurance Senior Engineer

We're looking for a dedicated engineer to join our team and contribute to CubeSat and SmallSat missions by defining, executing, and reporting AIT campaigns.
What's the Challenge?
At the Space Systems division, our work is focused on the specification, design, development, assembly, integration, testing, and operations of complete spacecraft and associated tools, such as GSE. As a member of our team, you'll collaborate with highly skilled engineers across Europe (Spain, Portugal, UK, Romania), working on exciting projects, including:
* Low Earth Orbit (LEO), MEO, GEO, or Deep Space satellites, constellations, or spacecraft for both private and institutional clients
* Earth observation, communications, navigation, science, and IOD programs
* R&D projects with a special focus on space technologies
* Mars and lunar exploration missions
* Space debris mitigation, contributing to a sustainable space environment
Your Contributions Will Include:
* Support System Engineering, Procurement, and MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Test) areas in Space Systems BU missions, programs, and products, covering all phases (0 to F), in one or more of the following domains:
* EEE components & EEE QA engineering, including Complex Devices development (FPGA, ASIC, IP Cores) and use of COTS (Components Off-The-Shelf)
* Radiation Hardness Assurance (RHA) engineering
* Dependability & Reliability Assurance engineering
* Materials and Processes QA engineering
* Verification, Validation, and Qualification of flight hardware (and software)
* Design & Development Assurance levels for hardware (and software)
* Model-Based Mission Assurance (MBMA), as part of the Model-Based System framework (MBSF)
* Risks and critical items management
* Apply current and future Company Management System (CMS) and specific engineering quality directives and processes, collaborating in a continuous improvement environment for multidisciplinary engineering areas, coordinating Chief Engineering and Quality functions for missions and products under company strategy and objectives.
What We're Looking For:
* Technical skills: Support system, hardware, and software teams along the project, ensuring PA and QA requirements, techniques, and methods are implemented during Mission/System/Hardware/Software/Firmware development, V&V, and Qualification processes.
* Knowledge in PA & QA technical disciplines, including Dependability and Safety (RAMS) and FDIR strategy implementation.
Additional valued skills include:
* Experience in EDA and simulation tools, aerospace sector familiarity, application of PA techniques in critical software and hardware following relevant standards (e.g., ECSS, NASA, IPC).
* Experience with HW, SW, and Systems design and requirements management documentation, software configuration control, ISVV methodologies, SW DAL categorization, SW Coding Standards, and SW/FW Development Standards.
Educational background:
* A recognized engineering degree (Computer Sciences, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications) with demonstrable experience in space systems and hardware engineering.
* Postgraduate studies (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) focusing on system, hardware, or embedded software engineering, space products, or satellite systems design are appreciated.
Professional Experience:
* 3-5 years of practical experience in the relevant domains (experience obtained during M.Sc. & Ph.D. studies can be considered).
* Experience or knowledge in areas like Agile methodology, Model-Based System Engineering, Digital Twins, and Quality assurance for space projects is appreciated.
Language Skills:
* English (Native or high level, spoken and written)
* Spanish is appreciated.
