Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support multiple projects in chemistry and microbiology labs across our R&D and Manufacturing plants. The role will focus on bridging business needs with IT solutions, ensuring optimal performance and compliance of lab operations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or related discipline in life science (chemistry, biology).
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with lab teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
* Support and participate in the design, implementation, and validation of IT systems in labs (e.g., LIMS, ELN, CDS).
* Drive process improvements and system integrations to enhance operational efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including GxP standards.
* Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
Candidate profile:
* Experience: Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in lab environments, preferably within R&D or Manufacturing in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business needs into IT solutions.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with lab systems and workflows, with a solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Availability: Able to engage on an external/contractual basis, with flexibility to work across sites or remotely as required.
Specific knowledge:
* Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and instrument software.
* Deep Understanding of Industrial activity in Life science and GXP procedure.
* Experience using Jira Software for demand and project management.
* Agile & Scrum certifications will be a plus.
* Languages: Spanish and English proficiency.
* Technical & Functional skills in the assigned Business area.

Additional information:
