About the location:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes. This stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
2. Train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain exceptional guest experiences.
3. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
4. Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate smooth operations during service.
Our Ideal F&B Supervisor candidate will have:
1. Experience: Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
2. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.
3. Customer Service Orientation: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service and addressing guest inquiries or concerns effectively.
4. Operational Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and service standards.
5. Financial Acumen: Understanding of budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization to contribute to the overall profitability of the F&B department.
6. Training and Development: Ability to train and mentor staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about menu items, service techniques, and company policies.
7. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and guest complaints promptly and effectively.
8. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in all aspects of service, from food presentation to compliance with health and safety regulations.
9. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the business.
10. Passion for F&B: A genuine passion for food and beverage, with an interest in current trends and innovations in the industry.
