They are looking for an experienced individual to join the team as a Lead CoE (Centre of Excellence) Accountant.
This is an incredible opportunity for you to take on a highly visible role as the face of accounting for our clients' Spanish division. As well as being the main point of contact for external parties, you will be responsible for managing relationships, liaising with C-Suite members, and participating in local leadership meetings.
In addition, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all fiscal and financial statutory requirements, completing yearly financial reviews, and more. This position will not only allow you to develop your project and people management skills but also give you the chance to make a real impact on our clients' business.

Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures that align with the organisation's objectives and comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Provide training and development to other members of the organisation on accounting policies, procedures, and best practices
* Lead and liaise with all external parties within the Spanish Division of the organisation, including clients, partners, and vendors.
* Communicate with the Board of Directors to provide updates on divisional operations and strategic plans.
* Manage team members located in various locations, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and efficient operations.
* Review and assess various projects submitted by team members to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
* Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to team members to improve project quality and performance.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience within a Big 4 firm or accounting experience within an international organisation
* Strong people and project management experience
* Experience working with auditors
* Fluent English & Spanish
* Good knowledge on Spanish GAAP / tax (fiscal requirements)
* Experience with US GAAP to Spanish GAAP conversion
