We are looking for a Field Service Superintendent E&A (Técnico de campo eléctrico) with a main responsibility in supervising Field Service Electrical & Automation activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems. The preferred location for this position is Bermeo, Spain.
Your role and responsibilities
* Supervise and execute Field Service Electrical & Automation (E&A) activities on 4-Stroke Marine Engines and Propulsion Control Systems.
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and automation systems on marine vessels.
* Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical and automation issues on marine engines and propulsion systems.
* Working on-site in new installations (commissioning) and participating during overhauls (marine installations and power plants).
* Prepare detailed service reports, including findings, recommendations, and actions taken.
* Provide technical support and guidance to field service engineers and technicians during service operations.
* Liaise with customers to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure that all service activities are carried out in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Requirements for the position
* Experience from working with 4-stroke engines (Diesel, Gas or DF) and Propulsion equipment (CPP, Thrusters, waterjets).
* Good knowledge of Written and Spoken English.
* Experience in Troubleshooting, overhauls and commissioning.
* Availability to travel (around 80% of the time).
* Good communication and cooperation skills, especially in multicultural environments.
* Attention to safety.
* Experience in team working.
* Experience in dealing directly with Clients.
* Time management and ability to work under pressure.
