Transforming data governance is a strategic opportunity to elevate practices and deliver valuable insights for continuous improvement at Glencore.
The role involves contributing to the accuracy, completeness, and alignment of data across our Coupa platform, Boomi middleware, and multiple ERP systems (primarily SAP).
You will oversee reconciliation processes between Coupa and ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
MORE SPECIFICALLY YOU WILL:
* Manage automated monitoring of transactional and master data using Power BI to track variances and discrepancies;
* Analyze variances, identify root causes, and develop protocols to resolve and prevent future issues;
* Define and document governance policies for data reconciliation in alignment with audit standards;
* Collaborate with SAP and Coupa support teams to address system variances while maintaining compliance;
* Provide stakeholders with variance reports and actionable insights through Power BI dashboards;
* Assist in implementing financial and operational controls to elevate governance practices;
* Develop KPIs to monitor reconciliation performance and identify patterns for improvement;
* Lead automation initiatives to optimize reconciliation processes and reduce manual efforts;
* Conduct data analysis to uncover inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities for optimization.
YOU WILL ALSO BE EXPECTED TO HAVE:
* Extensive experience in data reconciliation and ERP systems, particularly SAP;
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency;
* Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL for data visualization and analysis;
* Skilled in designing and implementing data integrity controls and governance frameworks;
* Deep understanding of cross-system data integration and validation;
* Effective communication skills to engage and influence cross-functional teams;
* Solid understanding of financial and operational controls within large-scale systems;
* Experience with multi-ERP environments and managing ETL processes;
LANGUAGE: As you will be part of a global team, you are expected to communicate fluently in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of other languages such as French, German, or Spanish is favorable but not mandatory.
TRAVEL AND LOCATION: Some occasional traveling will be required. This role will ideally be based at our Malaga office, but we could consider other suitable locations.
