Madbox is a fast-growing mobile gaming company with a very unique way of developing games. Everything has been made for teams to take as much ownership as possible, unleash their creativity, bring performance, and have as much fun as possible.
In July 2022, we launched our Pocket Champs game worldwide which quickly became one of the top-grossing games in its category.
Simultaneously we have a New-Games division within Madbox. Small agile core teams, that focus solely on pitching new unique games with great quality and speed. We are currently on the lookout for top talent with mad skills, mad passion and a mad ambition.
This is where you come in, a skilled Lead Game Artist to join our New-Games division in Barcelona and help us achieve our mission: to create unique games and memorable IPs.

You have the artistic ownership of the project and will be the go-to for anything art-related and can support and challenge Game Managers with visual ideation. Your versatility shines as you seamlessly handle 3D, 2D, and technical skills.
While not in a managerial role, you'll guide junior members, ensuring timelines and objectives are met while maintaining quality through thorough documentation. Your exceptional communication skills will foster an environment of open feedback and continuous improvement within the team.
