Job Description
Key player in the metal industry B2B oriented organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitors, and potential challenges in the Italian Market.
2. Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Italian Market to meet or exceed export targets.
3. Analyze trends and customer preferences to ensure products are aligned with market demands.
4. Establish and maintain relationships with distributors, agents, and direct customers in the Italian Market.
5. Manage existing client accounts while identifying new prospects to expand the business.
6. Conduct negotiations, prepare sales contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products and expand the client base.
8. Set and achieve sales targets, quotas, and profitability goals for the Italian export market.
9. Monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management.
10. Develop pricing strategies, manage quotations, and ensure competitive pricing in Italy.
11. Coordinate the export process, including shipping logistics, customs documentation, and export regulations.
12. Ensure compliance with both the Italian Market and international trade laws, including customs regulations, duties, and taxes.
13. Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective shipping solutions.
14. Manage export budgets, cost forecasts, and profit margins.
15. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
16. Monitor currency fluctuations and mitigate risks associated with exchange rates.
Requirements:
* 5 years of metal industry sales/export experience with Italy
* Italian and English level C1 or higher
