The Service Key Accounts department is responsible for managing customers that are key for Vestas Service Business. We form a highly skilled sales and key account management team, responsible for developing and delivering commercial strategies that contribute towards Vestas´ sales and profitability goals while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Establishes productive professional relationships with key stakeholders within the assigned customers.
• Develops account strategy and account plans at global level and adapts such strategy and execution to the specific needs of the different markets where the customer operates, in close coordination with the regional sales teams.
• Proactively collect and maintains essential intelligence about the customers strategy plan, pipeline and buying behaviour to inform and update the account strategy, Vestas´ service product development and ultimately Vestas´ strategy.
• Coordinates the involvement of company resources (technology, service sales, service operations, turbine sales and management functions) in order to meet account needs and customer performance expectations.
• Oversees the strategy and preparation of offers and strategic partnerships in response to global tenders and requests for proposals in close coordination with the regional sales teams.
• Establishes a cadence of quarterly business reviews with the assigned key customers to ensure a high customers satisfaction, identify business opportunities and secure the needed resources within the company to deliver on those.
Qualifications
• Bachelor´s Degree in Sales, Business Development or Engineering (MBA-level education is beneficial)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales or Account Management-related roles within the renewables business (wind preferred),
• Proficient in English.

• Completes and maintains customer account plans that meet or exceed Vestas standards.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction and intimacy across a wide range of stakeholders within the customer organization.
• Handle customer challenges and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams across the Vestas value chain.
• Builds sustainable and robust pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and account planning in significant collaboration with regional sales teams.
• Drive customer success through solid business understanding and the ability to strongly align the Vestas value proposition with the customer's' business goals.
