We are looking for an experienced Head Chef who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join the opening of an international restaurant and events venue in the Fuengirola area. You must have previous experience running a successful kitchen within a high-quality restaurant, with the ability to encourage and motivate the team to maximise performance and productivity.
Requirements and Responsibilities
* 5+ years’ experience as a Head or Sous Chef
* Passionate and creative as you will be the gastronomical face of the restaurant in the media
* Good team player and ability to maintain good communication between restaurant and kitchen and external contractors.
* Ability to devise menus for international and national events
* Good knowledge of food hygiene procedures
* Advanced English and Spanish speaker
* Friendly, courteous and pleasant personality
* Ensure effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation and service with regard to quality, quantity and safety.
The company is offering a full-time contract
Work Schedule
* Wednesday to Sunday - 11.00 - 15.00 and 19.00 - 23.00 (split shifts)
* Monday and Tuesdays off work
