Global Business Partner, Corporate Support Functions
As Global Business Partner for the Corporate Support Functions, they are responsible for leading the people agenda to support the business objectives for the units assigned, being responsible for developing an end-to-end people strategy that will help teams achieve their business goals. They will partner with other regional P&C colleagues and corporate subject matter experts to execute strategies, ensuring that the business unit has a holistic overview and support across all geographies in which it operates.
Main responsibilities
* Global P&C Business Partner for specific Business Units
Serve as the main point of contact between Management and the P&C area to provide consultative advice to senior stakeholders, translating business strategies into People & Culture priorities.
* Define and implement key P&C plans and activities to support the business strategy and the business plans in agreement with the Unit Head. Advise on all people-related issues, such as Recruitment, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Retention, Internal mobility and Performance matters.
* Execute necessary reorganizations of departments, units, and full organizational areas (including communication plan, risk assessment, key people retention plans, individual and collective labor implications).
* Support the Unit Heads in applying relevant and tested P&C methodologies and best practices for the development of their organization.
* Determine key position definitions and content to determine the right position grades from the assigned Business Unit.
* Compile and monitor compensation and benefits proposals and ensure internal equity and coherence within corporate guidelines.
* Advise the leadership team of the units on workforce planning and be involved with the recruitment of key positions. Identification of key training and development needs.
* Implementation of Amadeus wide P&C Programs in coordination and partnership with relevant local P&C teams and Global COE (Centers of Excellence)
Employee Engagement - understand themes in the Business Unit and determine appropriate actions in strong collaboration with the management teams.
* Grading and corporate titles.
* Talent reviews - support BU in the process and method. Track emerging talent across geographies and units.
* Annual Salary Review - support BU with the process, identifying cases that need to be addressed because of unfairness or high potential individuals.
* Regular interaction with P&C teams in various geographies.
Ensures coherence and compatibility of site initiatives.
* Brief the teams regularly on the business performance, progress vs. plans, and key priorities.
* Seek timely feedback from P&C teams on the ground to identify issues early on.
About the ideal candidate
* University degree in HR, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* At least +8 years of experience in a global HR role in areas such as Talent, Performance, Recruitment, Compensation, Development, Workforce planning and Organizational areas among others.
* Proven track record of acquiring deep business knowledge and applying business-specific people solutions.
* Adaptable to ambiguity and capable of engaging in complex strategy discussions as well as a hands-on approach coupled with a positive attitude.
* Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels to drive organizational change.
* Proficiency in English; other languages are desirable.
