Job Description
Due to ongoing growth and success in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients, Turner & Townsend's Digital Management division is expanding its team in Madrid, Spain, and we are looking for a highly organized and efficient Intermediate Document Controller to join us.

The role is varied and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, experience engaging with project stakeholders, and the ability to work independently. An organized and systematic approach to work is a must, as well as experience in setting up, configuring, and managing the client’s Common Data Environment (CDE).
Key Responsibilities
1. Configuration and management: Administer the CDE system, configuring settings, and ensuring its optimal performance.
2. Access control: Implement and maintain access controls based on project team roles and responsibilities.
3. Information standards: Develop and maintain the information management methods and procedures, including user directories, information management protocol, and file naming conventions.
4. Training and support: Provide training to internal and external stakeholders on the use of the CDE, develop and maintain the training and user guides, training logs, and act as the main point of contact for all queries and requests relating to the CDE.
5. Compliance reporting: Undertake regular CDE system audits, reporting on system usage, and accuracy of document metadata, categorization, revision, status, naming, suitability, format, etc.
6. Workflow integration: Work with stakeholders to capture processes and map into document workflows.
7. Archiving and information security: Implement measures to secure sensitive project information, including backups, disaster recovery plans, and archive of historical documentation.
8. Continuous improvement: Provide subject matter expertise as required to improve the technology functionality and efficiency.
Qualifications
1. 5+ years’ experience in architecture, engineering, and construction projects across the entire project lifecycle.
2. Administrator-level experience in Bentley’s AssetWise.
3. Highly proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent command (Level C1 Advanced).
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
5. Organized and systematic approach to document and record management.
6. Migration of data between systems.
7. Ability to develop excellent working relationships with the client and project team.
8. Consultancy background, with experience in railway infrastructure projects.
9. Knowledge of delivery requirements, quality management, and process improvement in complex construction projects.
10. Skilled in presenting and delivering training to groups of stakeholders.
11. User-level experience in Bentley ProjectWise and Microsoft SharePoint.
12. Understanding of Building Information Management (BIM) and Information Management, with working knowledge of the standards which define ISO19650.
13. Skilled in process capture and mapping for the setup and maintenance of workflows in the CDE.
