We are a multi-energy operator in the Spanish market, specialized in hydrocarbon trading and a leading reference in fuel and derivatives storage in Southern Europe.
As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we’re looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Finance Department.
Main responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management.
* Analyze and reduce operational expenses (OPEX) across all business units, with emphasis on: Central services; Logistics and transportation; Fuel station operations; Construction and fit-out project costs.
* Lead the digitalization of the procurement function, including the implementation of a Group-wide purchasing platform to support multiple business lines.
* Identify, evaluate, and implement procurement tools and technologies that enhance transparency, efficiency, and cost control.
* Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
* Drive sustainability and ESG-conscious procurement, selecting vendors and products that align with Grupo Hafesa’s environmental and social responsibility goals.
* Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance based on quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
* Monitor industry trends, pricing dynamics, and regulatory changes to anticipate risks and opportunities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, legal, ESG, and project development teams.
* Manage the complete procurement lifecycle: sourcing, supplier negotiation, contracting, and vendor performance management.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
* 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in a multi-business or industrial services environment.
* Proven track record in OPEX control, cost optimization, and procurement in construction or capital projects.
* Strong experience with digital procurement tools, ERP systems, and platform implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, etc.).
* Solid understanding of dashboard creation and KPI reporting using Excel, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or similar.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and roll out policies and standardized processes across multiple departments or business units.
