What is the objective of this position? What is the expected outcome?
We are looking for professionals to expand our process engineering team for the manufacturing of aerospace components.
You will join a young and multidisciplinary team working on major long-term projects for the civil and defense aviation industries.
Main Responsibilities:
* Define manufacturing processes for new components:
o Create solid models of the different phases of the process.
o Generate work instructions and guides for executing new processes.
* Define and implement necessary improvements to industrialize the product, reducing lead times and non-quality costs.
* Provide production support and contribute to continuous process improvement.
What profile are we looking for?
* A professional interested in working in a production environment and with complex manufacturing processes, with strong communication skills to coordinate with different disciplines.
* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
* Required Experience: Experience and knowledge in manufacturing processes (machining, NDTs, CMM, etc.).
* Ability to analyze data and strong coordination and communication skills.
* Necessary Knowledge:
o 3D modeling and drafting (CAD, preferably Siemens NX).
o Product lifecycle management software (PLM, preferably Teamcenter) and SAP.
* Languages: High level of English and Spanish, spoken and written (preferably C1)
* Personal Skills:
o Proactivity.
o Teamwork, coordination, and communication.
o Ability to learn and adapt.
o Motivation to seek continuous improvement.
What training will you receive to carry out the work?
You will be trained in:
* Rotating compressor components for aircraft engines, their function, materials, and key elements.
* Conventional and special manufacturing processes (shot peening, etching/macro-attack, polishing, coatings, etc.).
* Cutting tools.
* Programming software.
* Production management.
* Quality management for critical aerospace parts.
* Process data analysis tools (SPC, Minitab, and others).
* Manufacturing process management tools (Teamcenter).

You will be part of the IBR Manufacturing Engineering team, collaborating closely with the IBR Production team and the workshop, as well as coordinating tasks and working with multiple related disciplines such as Tooling, Quality, CNC/CMM Programming, Manufacturing Technologies, Planning, and Customers.
