Description
As an Optical Module Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating advanced processes and technologies to produce state-of-the-art opto-mechanical modules. Your work will involve close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, and managing engineering activities. This includes overseeing spec definition/alignments, design reviews, developing qualification plans, conducting data reviews, and performing failure analysis. Your efforts will be crucial in delivering high-performance lens modules for Apple Vision products.
Minimum Qualifications
* Industry experience in consumer electronics
* Experience driving vendor interactions and negotiating technical specifications to achieve project technical goals
Preferred Qualifications
* Experienced in leading optical and opto-mechanical module technical development over the full project cycle, from initial design requirements to sustained production
* Knowledge of and experience with manufacturing methods and processes used in the fabrication of optical modules, including lenses and actuators
* Experience in bringing up new vendors for technology development and mass production
* Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for tackling complex systemic issues, performing failure analysis, data analysis, image processing, and devising effective mitigation plans
* Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration in the areas of optical, mechanical, electrical design, and reliability teams
* Experienced in writing technical requirement specification documents
* Familiar with metrology or manufacturing equipment development
