In this role you’ll be responsible to secure the availability for a portfolio of outsourced products, spare parts, consumables, commodities and special engineering materials for delivery in Europe.
You’ll have the opportunity to show your capability to manage a diversified portfolio articles in a way that service and inventory turns will be maximized.
What you will do:
* Placing orders to internal and external suppliers within the sourcing agreements and inventory management policy.
* Monitoring basis suppliers’ deliveries and confirmations. Identifying and resolving possible gaps as much as possible independently and escalates unsolved problems.
* Preparing, analysing, and communicating monthly forecasts to external suppliers. Discussing with them the feasibility and looking for alternative solutions to mitigate potential constraints.
* Measuring and analysing suppliers’ delivery performances and elaborating / implementing joined improvement plans with suppliers and with the support of the sourcing team.
* Identifying opportunities to improve inventory turns and suppliers’ performances.
What you need to have:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing procurement activities and teams in a factory or logistics platform in an industrial environment
* MSc or technical degree in supply chain management.
* APICS certification: CPIM or CSCP are strong advantages for this position.
* Practical experience with SAP MM module.
* Good knowledge and experience of MS excel functions (pivot tables and formulas).
* Fluent in English, another European language is highly desired, French is a plus.
