Vendor Manager, Policies & Governance (Openbank)

Mission and Responsibilities:
As a member of IT & Ops Vendor Management Office, you will define and implement sourcing strategies and support the definition of Procurement's policies to standardise and/or centralise purchasing activity, optimize the cost of goods and services, reduce the supplier base and improve internal controls. Accordingly, you will manage the relationship with existing suppliers/partners on a day-to-day basis including SLA's follow-up, contract changes, issue and/or dispute resolution and contract termination. You will provide commercial, contractual and financial management expertise to ensure IT optimizes value for money from contracts with suppliers/third parties and that these contracts remain aligned to IT's needs.
Main Tasks:
1. Evolve and manage the operational relationship with suppliers/partners. Act as the primary point of contact for IT & Ops third parties.
2. Evolve and manage supplier/partner relationship governance.
3. Control and work to guarantee compliance with all corporate policies and regulatory requirements related to Vendor management and Sourcing processes.
4. Ownership in the reporting of SLAs that measures the performance and efficiency of partners.
5. Participate in supplier/partner selection, assist in setting selection criteria and potential suppliers evaluation.
6. Facilitate the selection of appropriate sourcing options and partnerships to ensure delivery of quality solutions at a competitive price.
7. Cost analysis of activities and identification of outsourcing opportunities to provide efficiencies in expenditure.
8. Work closely with Procurement to ensure best possible contractual terms.
9. Review supplier/partner performance against defined SLAs. Raise service improvements when needed, manage issues and resolve disputes.
10. Oversee the management of the relationship with suppliers/partners to ensure the provision of specific resource/technical skills required to fix complex or severe incidents/problems.
11. Manage supplier relationship during exit. Ensure fulfilment of supplier’s/partner’s responsibilities during exit period.
To be Successful in the Role You Must Have:
1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration or other management discipline.
2. Six or more years in technology sourcing and/or procurement and/or vendor management is expected.
3. Experience reviewing and implementing corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
4. Demonstrated ability to create a well-conceptualized, well-socialized and well-executed sourcing (or IT-business) strategy.
5. Strong ability to translate stakeholder requirements into technology sourcing practices and business outcomes.
6. Outsourcing (including business process outsourcing) or digital business experience is an advantage.
7. A broad understanding of technology sourcing trends and their potential implications to the business.
8. Contract understanding and negotiation skills are highly valued.
9. Comfort interacting with both internal and external senior leaders.
10. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills at the senior executive level.
11. Superb problem-solving and relationship-building skills in complex supplier and internal customer relationship environments.
