Context
Our client is strengthening the teams with QA tester profiles. The project consists of 2 Scrum teams, with 3-week sprints. Each team is composed of full stack developers, QA testers, and Product Owners. The contract is renewable every quarter.
Description
The test automation engineer designs and performs functional tests of developed applications. They are responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of features in the product.
Deliverables
1. Participate in writing and maintaining the test repository.
2. Validate functional and technical implementations of User Stories.
3. Perform integration testing of IT solutions.
4. Ensure product quality and non-regression.
5. Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
6. Provide reporting.
7. Compliance control: ability to test the consistency of flows (invoice number, amounts, VAT, etc.)
8. Electronic invoicing regulations: knowledge of local tax standards and international standards (e.g., EN16931, Factur-X).
9. Interoperability: validation of exchanges between various systems (ERP, invoicing platforms, tax authorities).
Technical skills
1. Mastery of testing tools: knowledge of tools like Postman, Playwright, or Cypress.
2. Test automation: ability to write scripts to automate interoperability and compliance tests (XML, JSON formats) using JavaScript or TypeScript.
3. API testing: proficiency in REST API testing with tools like Postman.
4. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript: understanding of web application functioning to detect front-end related issues.
5. Databases: knowledge of SQL to verify data and validate database interactions (Mariadb or MongoDB).
6. CI/CD environments: familiarity with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Methodological skills
1. Testing methods: knowledge of different types of tests (functional, non-functional, regression, exploratory, etc.).
2. Test case writing: ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans, following standards like ISTQB.
3. Requirements analysis: ability to analyze and understand specifications to identify relevant test cases.
4. Anomaly management: proficiency in bug tracking tools like Jira.
5. Agile/Scrum approaches: experience in an agile environment, with a good understanding of sprints, user stories, and Scrum ceremonies.

1. Attention to detail: ability to spot subtle anomalies in an interface or software behavior.
