Our client, it’s a multinational company that integrates solutions that help their customers be more efficient in the intralogistics operations by implementing turnkey systems that involve automation in hardware and software.
They are in a successful phase of expansion and growth and, therefore, they need to hire a Project Engineer (PE), who is responsible for the installation and commissioning phase of LSI projects. Additionally, work will occasionally also encompass responsibilities in supporting the Systems Engineering group with layouts and manuals during the sale phase. A PE works closely with the Project Engineering Coordinator (PEC) in daily planning, executing, and reporting project deliveries.
General duties:
* Manages and supports on a day-to-day basis suppliers and customer installation needs.
* Maintains a permanent communication flow with the Project Management and System Engineer specialists designated to the project.
* In the execution phase: Responsible for onsite work from mechanical and electrical installation to commissioning.
Supplier management during contract delivery:
* Validates civil works, coordinates, and supervises the erection of warehouse structures, machinery, and interconnection wiring.
* Manages PLC and Software integration.
* Responsible for onsite safety.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering; electrical engineering is a plus.
* Highly proficient in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
* 3 years’ experience working with installations.
* Disposition to travel: ready and excited to travel intensively (approximately 60%).
* Willing to relocate to Madrid (if not already residing there).
