Responsibilities
Our team is a key part of Keysight’s central research and development organization, Keysight Laboratories. In this role, you’ll join an R&D team that delivers instrument infrastructure components involving FPGAs, GPUs, Ethernet, SmartNICs, Embedded CPUs, multi-core CPUs and high-performance PCIe interconnect. You will research, create, validate, and implement instrument infrastructure IP to be used by other Keysight instrument development teams and measurement solutions around the globe.
Qualifications
* University degree in Computer Engineering or closely related field, advanced degree strongly preferred.
* Significant experience of 7+ years in a relevant field is essential.
* Strong HDL (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) development skills. Highly capable to quickly develop, debug and troubleshoot issues at multiple layers in the system architecture, from FPGA simulation to the software driver layer.
* Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing complex high-performance systems with in-depth knowledge of interconnect (PCIe) and network (Ethernet) technologies.
* Solid object-oriented programming on C++ and scripting languages (Python, TCL)
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A keen problem solver with a positive, team-oriented approach and a proactive and eager nature for designing and developing solutions to challenging problems.
* Familiarity with test and measurement applications, instrument architectures, Embedded Linux, SoC (FPGA/ARM), distributed/edge computing is a plus.
