Admissions Assistant

Main responsibilities & tasks:
Under the supervision of the Admissions manager, within the admissions team, he/she will provide administrative support to the assigned region/s, including general functions in phone customer service, accounting-numeracy, etc. to give the most appropriate response to both, our internal and external customer requirements and to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
* Accepting and filtering student applications
* Assessing applications according to our eligibility criteria
* Organizing and filing of recruitment documentation
* Providing consultations with prospective students when requested
* Referring prospective students to specific program directors for additional information (when needed)
* Processing student registration and payment
* Responding to information requests
* Participating in (or delivering) info sessions if needed.
* Management of scholarship applications and bursary information as applicable
* Compiles data for the purpose of preparing reports, records, or processing requests.
* Monitors a variety of activities and provides information when required to perform functions.
* Other duties as assigned
Admissions Assistant Qualifications and Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in business, Marketing, or another relevant degree or Professional Studies in Administration.
* Bilingual Spanish - English spoken and written are a must. Any other language (German, French, Italian, etc.) will be desirable. Please refrain from applying if you do not meet this requirement.
* Work experience in a similar position as part of an admissions team desirable.
* Worldwide knowledge of Educations Systems, desirable.
* Excellent IT Skills. Microsoft Office domain: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe PDF writer. Salesforce knowledge desirable.
* Must have attention to detail and be highly organized.
* Must be comfortable working with large databases and doing most daily administrative work on computer.
* Professional email and phone communication is required.
* Good professional presence and should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Admissions assistant should be used to work as a team member and proactive.
