Senior Voice Engineer

To reinforce our team in Málaga, we are currently looking for a Voice Engineer. As a member of this team, your main priority will be to ensure our innovative voice platform remains solid and scalable. The platform is built in-house and is designed to be highly flexible and enriched with innovative features. You will continuously provide input to our Product Managers to further develop the platform. Furthermore, you together with your team will be responsible for implementing and executing the yearly plans related to the Voice platform. Your ideas and technical knowledge will be an important contribution to the ongoing development of the Voice platform as an important part of our business.
Your main challenges will be:
1. Managing and maintaining our voice platforms, including monitoring, backups, upgrades, installations, routine testing, and failover features
2. Providing third-level support to handle complex issues and requests
3. Analyzing problems and change requests to ensure smooth operations
4. Supporting the development of our core network to enhance scalability and integrate new elements
5. Participating in projects that involve planning, developing, and implementing new features and components
What we’re looking for:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
2. Extensive knowledge of PBX and VOIP systems
3. Proficiency in protocols such as SIP
4. Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and programming (Ansible, PHP, Python, Lua, etc.)
5. Expertise in MySQL databases
6. Proven ability in fault-finding and analysis within a VOIP environment
7. Strong understanding of voice element roles (proxy, B2BUA, etc.)
8. Familiarity with open-source platforms (e.g., Freeswitch, Kamailio, OpenSIPS) will be necessary
9. Experience working with Docker
10. Solid knowledge of Linux
11. Experience with IMS environments is advantageous
12. Proficiency in English, as you will work in an international team
13. Enthusiastic and inquisitive nature, with the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and be proactive
14. Willing to participate in an on-call schedule
