As an integral part of the Franchise Support team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of franchisees and support their activity, continuously improving their performance.
You must have a can-do attitude and a varied skillset, including experience working with franchisees. A successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to drive strategic initiatives to assist growth while remaining reactive and agile in addressing challenges and resolving issues effectively.
The applicant will be able to manage their own workload while adhering to an established framework to provide insightful and impactful support.
This role requires someone who is fluent in Spanish and also fluent in English.
Objectives of the job role:
* Increase the overall performance of franchisees in Spain (the network).
* Drive up the average income level per franchisee – year on year growth.
* Provide operational and hands-on support to the network; demonstrating thorough knowledge of the best practice methods for the business (client acquisition or delivery specialist).
* Build solid relationships with the franchisees through mutual respect and trust.
* Provide 'hands-on support' with franchisees; demonstrating gravitas and sobriety.
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1. Taking a pro-active approach in business development, ensuring franchisees receive excellent support services.
2. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all key marketing initiatives and tools. Supporting Spanish franchisees on marketing initiatives such as direct mail, providing them ideas and training where necessary, one-on-one or in groups.
3. Building solid relationships with Spanish franchisees to become a trusted advisor to motivate, support, and grow their business with them long-term.
4. Participating in Accountability and Support Calls with franchisees to follow up on agreed actions and ensure that key priorities are being followed through.
5. Being especially attentive with new franchisees to ensure their success. Taking charge of their management, coordinating support from their Mentor, organizing and supporting their mentorship, ensuring weekly calls follow their progress and suggesting actions and key tasks that will launch their business forward.
6. Identifying underperforming and/or ‘at risk’ franchisees and creating a plan of action to help them increase performance and stability.
7. Proactively supporting franchisees considering exiting the business for underperformance reasons to put a plan in place so they can see a way forward and support on this plan.
8. Working closely with the Head of EMEA to agree on strategies that will stimulate growth.
9. Organizing and undertaking a program of business review meetings with key franchisees according to the objectives agreed.
10. Organizing and attending meetings and online webinars throughout the Spanish network to deliver corporate updates and best practices.
11. Running webinars and facilitating to broaden knowledge in the network in cost categories. Providing hands-on support in getting the most out of these sessions, such as dry run-throughs and following up.
12. Participating in International Conference events designed to inform, educate, and inspire franchisees to reach higher performance levels. You will be expected to facilitate certain workshops and help with organization if needed.
13. Escalating concerns and any wrongful behavior to the Head of EMEA and the Compliance Department.
14. Understanding and building knowledge on key software tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, Docusign, Templafy, ERA App, and so on, to confidently teach/train franchisees on this technology and be the ‘go-to’ person for questions.
