General Responsibility
Reporting to the Global CIO, this role is critical for strategically leading and managing Corporate IT Services across Insud Pharma’s international affiliates, ensuring robust cybersecurity, reliable infrastructure, and alignment with global IT strategies. Acting as an IT Business Partner, this position will be the primary liaison connecting the central IT services with international business units and countries.
The International IT Manager will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure, ensuring strict adherence to standards and guidelines set by headquarters in Madrid. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring consistency with Insud Pharma’s corporate systems and policies, driving global integration and compliance. By partnering with international business units, the IT Manager will proactively align corporate IT services with local needs and priorities, effectively managing and developing local IT teams.
Specific Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and implement regional IT strategies aligned with the global objectives of Corporate T&T.
* Lead and manage international Insudpharma' regional IT teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with global T&T leaders to ensure consistency and integration of IT systems and policies.
Cybersecurity Management:
* Oversee the implementation and compliance of cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect company data and infrastructure.
* Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of information security risks across Exeltis Global.
* Assist in executing an incident response plan.
Infrastructure Management:
* Manage the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure across all Insudpharma regions, following corporate and group standards & services.
* Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
Project Management:
* Lead and coordinate IT projects for International Insudpharma companies, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
* Interact with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Vendor Management:
* Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
* Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), optimizing investments in platforms used across multiple regions (e.g., CRM).
Strategic Alignment:
* Aligning IT initiatives with the business objectives and strategies of international divisions in the region.
* Ensure that IT projects & T&T Services support the overall objectives of Exeltis’ global operations.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
* Act as a liaison between T&T and international teams to communicate project status, timelines, and potential issues.
* Understand and convey the international needs and priorities to T&T.
Budget Management:
* Assisting in the development and management of IT budgets for projects within International Bus and locations.
* Monitoring expenses to ensure they are used efficiently and align with the priorities of the International.
* Consolidating IT cost and investment data with T&T (Technology & Transformation).
Requirements and personal skills
* Education: Degree in Sciences. Master is a plus.
* Languages: Fluent Spanish and English, knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
* Experience (years/area): +5 years of experience in similar positions in Pharma sector with experience at international level. Proven experience in quality assurance.
* Specific Knowledge: Pharma Industry Solutions (Veeva, TrackWise…), SAP HANA, Cyber culture…
* Travels: Willingness to travel 70%
* Personal skills: strong leadership, a high level of strategy and organizational and communication skills are essential.
