Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling complex M&A matters. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled legal professional with a strong track record of success in litigation across various sectors, particularly in commercial, civil, and corporate. You will play a key role in representing clients in transactions, providing strategic legal advice, and mentoring junior lawyers within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage high-value, complex corporate cases from inception to conclusion.
* Provide expert legal advice to clients on various contentious matters, including commercial, civil, and corporate .
* Conduct legal research to support case preparation and advice.
* Mentor and train junior lawyers, assisting in their professional development.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments in the firm to ensure comprehensive legal solutions for clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Called to a Belgian Bar
* At least 2 years of post-call corporate experience, with a proven track record in handling complex cases.
* Deep knowledge of Belgian civil, commercial, and corporate law.
* Strong advocacy skills with experience in court appearances and hearings.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
* Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
