About the Role – Key Responsibilities
Cash Management and Treasury Operations:
* Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow projections to ensure liquidity requirements are met.
* Execute cash management activities, including cash positioning, funding, and disbursements.
* Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to optimize cash management processes.
* Implement electronic banking systems and manage tools like Kyriba.
* Handle payments to suppliers, payroll, taxes, and guarantees.
Treasury Operations and Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, bank accounts, and financial instruments.
* Assist in preparing regulatory filings and compliance reports as needed.
Bank Relationship Management:
* Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure efficient banking services.
* Monitor bank fees and service charges, negotiate agreements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Stay updated on banking products and services to recommend enhancements.
Debt, Investment, and Foreign Exchange Risk Management:
* Support the management of the company’s debt portfolio, including monitoring covenants, interest rates, and repayment schedules.
* Evaluate short-term investment opportunities to optimize returns while managing risks.
* Monitor foreign exchange markets and economic trends to anticipate financial impacts.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CTP) is a plus.
* At least 5 years of experience in treasury and finance.
* Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Languages: Fluency in Spanish and Italian is required; English is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba).
