As a member of the Wait Staff at Pizza Inn, you will be responsible for learning the tasks associated with all of the following positions.
* Maintain a neat and clean appearance.
* FOLLOW DIRECTIONS & FOLLOW 6 STEPS OF SERVICE.
* Demonstrate guest focus and a sense of urgency.
* FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND SANITATION PROCEDURES.
* Wash hands regularly and follow the "clean as you go" policy.
* Keep work areas organized and follow the 45 Seconds of service rule.
Dining Room Attendant / Server
Job Responsibilities:
* SAMPLED ALL PRODUCTS AND CAN DESCRIBE THEM ACCURATELY.
* IDENIFY PRODUCT ABBREVIATIONS, PLATE PRESENTATIONS, PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS, AND KEY INGREDIENTS FOR ALL PRODUCTS.
* CUT AND PACK ALL DINE INN ORDERS, BUFFET, AND DELIVERY.
* KNOW SHELF LIFE OF PRODUCTS.
* EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANCE OF MINIMIZING WASTE AND FOOD COST.
* COMPLETE SIDE WORK DUTIES.
* OPEN AND CLOSE STATION CORRECTLY (OPEN, MID-SHIFT, CLOSE).
* KNOW ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES DURING SLOW TIMES AND MID-LUNCH DINNER.
Dishwasher/Busser
Job Responsibilities:
* WASH HANDS REGULARLY.
* SET 3 COMPARTMENT SINK PROPERLY.
* PROPERLY WASH, RINSE, AND SANITIZE SMALLWARES, DISHES, UTENSILS, & FOOD PREP EQUIPMENT.
* IDENTIFY LOCATION OF SMALLWARES AND PUT AWAY DISHES PROPERLY.
* MAINTAIN ORGANIZATION & CLEANLINESS OF THE DISH AREA.
* ASSIST WITH PRE-BUSSING & BUSSING TABLES.
* OPEN AND CLOSE STATION PROPERLY.
* FOLLOW CORRECT PROCEDURES FOR WASHING DISHES, CUPS, PANS, SILVERWARE, SMALLWARE, ETC.
* TAKES OUT TRASH PERIODICALLY AND BEFORE DARK.
* PERFORM PRIMARY, SECONDARY, AND ANY OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED.
* COMMUNICATE TO MANAGEMENT ON ANY ISSUES, REPAIRS, DAMAGED ITEMS, ETC.
* MAKE PERIODIC SWEEPS THROUGH KITCHEN PULLING DIRTY DISHES IN PREP AREAS.
* CHECK PARKING LOT & LANDSCAPING FOR CLEANLINESS.
* KNOW HOW TO BUS A TABLE PROPERLY.
* ASSIST IN PRE-BUSSING & BUSSING TABLES.
* ASSIST IN WIPE DOWN GLASS DOORS & WINDOWS.
* KNOW OPENING & CLOSING DUTIES.
