Optimizing Network Equipment Testing and Repair Processes
Job Description
As a Test and Repair Process Development Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the optimization of testing and repair processes for network equipment from providers such as Ericsson, Nokia, or Huawei.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed testing processes for various network equipment to ensure comprehensive functionality coverage.
* Set up and configure test environments with physical equipment to simulate real network conditions.
* Use testing and diagnostic tools to validate network equipment.
* Create and maintain clear and detailed documentation for testing processes.
* Analyze test results to identify root causes of equipment failures.
* Develop and optimize repair processes to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Project Management
* Independently manage test and repair process development projects.
* Define realistic milestones and deadlines to ensure project objectives are met.
Collaboration with Global Teams
* Work closely with the central engineering team based in Germany to align with global best practices.
* Participate in international projects and share knowledge with other teams.
Requirements
* Education: Degree in technical engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field).
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years in test and repair process development for network equipment.
* Languages: C1 level in English (both spoken and written).
* Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.).
o Experience with network equipment testing and diagnostic tools.
o Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
o Experience in scripting (Python, Perl, etc.) and automation tools.
