These roles require strong leadership in managing engineering teams, improving developer productivity, and driving change management processes. The ideal candidates will combine technical expertise with coaching and mentorship, helping to guide engineering teams to deliver high-quality work while working within agile and scrum frameworks, ideally with a background in product companies. The ability to work on-site at least 3 days a week is required.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and technical output.Oversee and support change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication with stakeholders.Provide hands-on technical leadership, conducting code reviews and participating in architecture discussions.Improve developer productivity through leadership in Developer Experience (DevX) and engineering workflows.Communicate effectively with teams regarding security, development best practices, and agile methodologies.Participate in HR discussions concerning team development, career progression, and performance evaluations.Support daily stand-ups, scrum meetings, and agile processes across engineering teams.Required ExperienceProven experience in engineering management, leading and mentoring technical teams.Strong technical background with the ability to review code and engage in architecture design discussions.Experience in agile and scrum methodologies, ideally including conducting daily stand-ups and managing sprints.Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate security protocols and development processes.Create and implement quality standards across engineering teams to ensure consistent, high-quality output.Familiarity with change management processes and best practices.Familiarity with Platform Engineering.Selective Experience:(experience with at least one of the skills below would be required, but not all are necessary)Project management experience, leading engineering teams on various technical projects and experience in Platform Engineering.Background in coaching, communication, and training, including the creation of training materials.Experience in Developer Experience (DevX) and productivity engineering.Engagement HighlightsDuration: This is a long-term, full-time engagement.Commitment: The client has a preference for full-time talent (40hs / week), but they are open to considering part-time talent (20hs / week) if there is a possibility to transition to full-time in the near future.
