About The Role
We are currently looking for an Intern to join our Finance group in Madrid as a Financial Planning & Analyst. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month internship and will get the chance to work in a multinational environment, supporting the EMEA Finance Operation team (FinOps) on core activities such as Closing, Planning, Reporting & Financial Analysis.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Support the planning, reporting and commission processes on the calculation, analysis and tools deployment, contributing with improvement proposals or best in class identified processes in any division.
• Help on the commissions task, by participating in the accrual and payout calculation, integrate the Commission implementation project for EMEA.
• Collaborate on the month-end close activities: Collaborate with the owners of the divisions and geographies assigned in creating the reports, liaising with the FP&As to identify information updates and improvement areas, understanding gaps.
• Contribute to accelerate projects by actively participating, creating an open communication channel with the users, gathering business requirements, involving them in the testing phase, incorporate feedbacks on the scope, …
• Understand EMEA forecasting process and periods to be a key element in the definition and load of the estimations from the six divisions and 73 countries involved.
What We Are Looking For In You:
• Graduated in a Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in Finance or Business related fields.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required (B2+)
• Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Good knowledge of basic financial concepts
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work within an international matrix team environment
• Autonomy, with the ability to take decisions and bring new ideas to the table
