In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing manufacturing costs, driving financial efficiency, and supporting informed decision-making within our production plant. Acting as a finance business partner, you will collaborate closely with non-financial stakeholders, requiring a strong understanding of plant operations, interconnected assets (both within AGU and across other assets at the Visp site), and coordination with Lonza. Proficiency in Power BI is essential.Key Responsibilities:Analyze production, material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure accuracy and drive financial efficiency.Prepare detailed cost reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts to support plant management.Partner with production, procurement, and finance teams to implement and monitor cost control measures.Support the annual budgeting process and monthly reporting cycles, with heightened activity during key closing periods.Identify opportunities for cost savings, process automation, and continuous improvement to enhance operational effectiveness.Qualifications & Skills:Master’s degree in a relevant field.Strong affinity for data, systems, and reporting.Solid working knowledge of SAP, Office 365, and Power BI (minimum requirement).Advanced skills in tools such as VBA, Python, or experience with Machine Learning/AI are a plus.Arxada has world-class offerings in two distinct areas: Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on combating threats posed by microorganisms through five business lines, including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings, and Material Protection.Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE) provides essential materials for sectors such as electronics and aerospace, along with vitamins and nutritional ingredients, performance intermediates, and high-performance application raw materials.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
