We are looking for a Senior PV Engineer to join a leading renewable energy generation multinational group. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about the renewable energy sector and is looking for a new professional growth!
Functions & Responsibilities:
* Lead the PV engineers/expertise to provide technical analysis and support to the company business units such as solar source analysis, designing and construction, commissioning and taking over protocol, operation and maintenance, research and development etc., for the PV projects.
* Conduct engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information to review the design and performance of solar power systems.
* Develop/review design specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives. Carry out necessary lifetime analysis for revamping or repowering projects.
* Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
* Develop standard operation & maintenance procedures. Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
* Provide root cause analysis for the major failures or defects regardless in commissioning or operation phase.
* Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
* Support the company technical committee to solve any technical problems on PV Tech in the company.
* Support technical due diligence for PV projects in the merge and acquisition activities.
* Mentor and train junior solar engineers and provide guidance to cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Design.
* At least 3 years of experience in the PV energy industry, including experience of PV plants design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
* Advanced to Intermediate English language proficiency (B2-C1), Native Spanish language proficiency (C1-C2), both written and verbal.
