WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As the Residence Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of residence operations, fostering a positive community atmosphere, and maintaining high service standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Operational Management:
* Overseeing the daily operations of the student residence, ensuring excellent service and resident satisfaction.
* Managing and supervising residence staff, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams.
* Ensuring compliance with all safety, security, and operational regulations.
Community & Resident Engagement:
* Creating and promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for residents.
* Organizing events and activities that encourage student engagement and integration.
* Acting as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and university representatives.
Financial & Business Management:
* Managing the residence budget and controlling operational costs.
* Implementing initiatives to improve occupancy rates and optimize financial performance.
* Collaborating with the commercial and marketing teams to attract new residents.
Service & Quality Improvement:
* Identifying areas for service improvement and implementing enhancements.
* Ensuring that residents receive top-tier customer service throughout their stay.
ARE YOU THE PERFECT FIT?
We are looking for a strong leader with hospitality and operational expertise. To succeed in this role, you should have:
* At least 3 years of experience managing student residences, hotels, or similar accommodation facilities.
* A degree in Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
* Experience working with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Ulysses or Opera (preferred).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
* A high level of English proficiency (additional languages are a plus).
* Availability to start in June 2025 (indicative date).
