Sales Leadership: DOS coordination and alignment, ensure execution and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the hotel's revenue and growth objectives.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the hotels sales team to achieve and surpass targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the luxury hospitality sector.
Utilize insights to refine sales tactics and execution, ensuring the hotel remains competitive and innovative.
Urban & Resorts Segmentation understanding
Revenue Optimization: Work closely with the Revenue Management to develop pricing strategies and optimize room inventory in each hotel to maximize revenue.
Team Development: Train, coach and develop sales team members, fostering a high-performance culture that values continuous improvement and exceptional guest service, at the same time be a reference for Minor hotels company values.
Collaboration and Influence: Collaborate with other hotels, Regions, departments, such as Marketing, and other disciplines as Ecommerce, marketing PR team, Operations, and Finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving the hotel's business goals.
Reporting and Accountability: Hotel business plan execution. Monitor sales performance against targets, providing regular reports to senior management. Implement corrective actions in advance as necessary to address performance gaps.
Account management responsibilities with Key industry players
Hotels / Brand Representation: Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and in key markets, enhancing the hotels visibility and reputation within the luxury segment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- An MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, with a strong understanding of luxury market dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Strong network within the luxury travel industry, with established relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM and sales management software.
- At least 7 years of sales experience in the luxury hotel industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Additional Information:
- Ability to travel significantly as required.
- Will report to Vice President of Sales Minor Europe & Americas.
