FUNCTIONS
1. Design and Development of Monopiles
o Structural design supervision: Ensure that the designed monopiles meet safety, resistance and quality standards, considering factors such as dynamic loads, marine and geotechnical conditions.
o Design optimization: Implement continuous improvements.
o Engineering innovation: Introduce new technologies and materials.
2. Engineering Project Management
o Project planning and control: Ensure alignment with business objectives.
o Technical supervision: Ensure performance meets local and international regulations.
3. Regulatory and Quality Compliance
o Engineering regulations: Ensure that all designs and processes comply with international quality and safety standards for offshore structures (e.g. ISO, API, DNV GL standards).
o Quality control: Establish robust quality control systems.
o Risk assessment: Minimize failures and guarantee the integrity of the monopiles in severe conditions.
4. Leadership and Development of Engineering Teams
o Engineering team management: Lead a team of engineers, technicians and designers.
o Training and development. Promotion of innovation.
5. Coordination with Construction and Manufacturing Projects
o Manufacturing support: Ensure that monopiles are manufactured in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
o Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance at plant and offshore construction site.
o Supervision of tests and validations.
6. Supplier and Subcontractor Management
o Supplier selection: Supervise the selection of material suppliers and subcontractors.
7. Research and Development (R&D)
o Be aware of technological advances in the design and manufacture of monopiles.
o Innovation projects: Initiate and manage R&D projects.
8. Cost and Efficiency Optimization
o Cost reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs in design and manufacturing.
o Operational efficiency: Improve production efficiency and reduce delivery times.
9. Interaction with Clients and Stakeholders
o Customer expectations management.
o Presentation of technical proposals.
10. Sustainability and Environmental Impact
o Sustainable design and environmental compliance.
Requisites
1. Minimum experience of 10-15 years in engineering roles in the offshore sector, preferably in the design and manufacture of monopiles, marine foundations or similar structures.
2. Experience in engineering team management: Minimum 5 years leading technical and multidisciplinary teams in complex projects.
3. Experience in offshore projects: Solid experience in the development of offshore projects, including the design, analysis and construction of marine structures.
4. Advanced English and Spanish; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
5. Technical Knowledge
o Structural design: Extensive knowledge of structural design principles, load analysis, and behavior of materials in marine environments.
o Specialized software: Mastery of structural design and analysis software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, SAP2000, SACS, and other structural modeling and simulation programs.
o Knowledge in marine geotechnics: Deep understanding of soil-structure interactions in the context of marine foundations.
o Regulations and standards: Advanced knowledge of international regulations and standards applicable to offshore structures (DNV GL, API, ISO, etc.).

o Project Management: Leadership.
