IT Business Analyst – Digital Lab (LIMS, ELN, CDS)
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst – Digital Lab to support a series of high-impact digital initiatives in chemistry and microbiology labs across our R&D and manufacturing plants.
This role is key to bridging business needs with IT capabilities—supporting system implementations, upgrades, and process optimisation to ensure compliant and efficient lab operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with lab users and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business and technical requirements.
• Support the design, implementation, integration, and validation of laboratory systems including LIMS, ELN, and CDS.
• Drive process improvements and data flow optimisation across laboratory operations.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and other regulatory standards throughout all project phases.
• Serve as liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.
Candidate Profile
• Experience: Demonstrated experience as an IT Business Analyst within R&D or Manufacturing labs, ideally in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• Skills: Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate user needs into system specifications.
• Lab IT Knowledge: Hands-on familiarity with LIMS, instrument software, scientific workflows, and lab informatics.
• Compliance Focus: Understanding of GxP procedures and validation processes.
• Tools: Experience using Jira Software for demand and project tracking; knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (certifications are a plus).
• Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; Portuguese or French is a plus.
