The role involves designing, building, and maintaining a SaaS solution that will shape the way content and assets are planned and managed in the media industry. You will collaborate with a global team of experts, employing Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver high-quality software that meets the dynamic needs of journalists and editors worldwide. Responsibilities • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and deployment. • Contribute to the development of a robust, scalable, and backend service, integrating seamlessly with existing systems and interfaces. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design features, and troubleshoot issues. • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing. • Deploying services in our Kubernetes cluster with OpenshiftWhat you will bring:• Java: Demonstrated experience in building high-performance, scalable applications using Java is essential. • Kafka (or similar technologies): Knowledge about Kafka is preferred, or experience with comparable messaging and stream-processing systems. • Solr: Familiar with Solr and its application in building complex search capabilities within large-scale systems. • Kubernetes & Openshift: Familiar with containerized solutions and autoscaling is a big plus• Kong (or similar technologies): Knowledge about Kong or similar API gateways is a plus • AWS: Experience with AWS is a plusWhat we offer:⛴ Being part of dynamic and highly motivated international multicultural team of skilled professionals.☄️ Expected salary range 33.000 - 45.000 EUR gross per year, depending on knowledge and experience.⚖️ Working model: Hybrid (twice a week at the office)⛱ 23 holiday days.✔️ DKV private health insurance from day 1.⛹ Gym Sponsorship.✏️ English and German language classes.✊ A young and ambitious team that knows when to work but also when to have fun (Pizza day, Summer event, Padel Tournaments, etc).
