Job Description:
Enfinity Global is looking for a motivated IT Desktop L2 Support Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing IT services within a dynamic work environment. The intern will assist in resolving escalated technical issues, supporting end-users, and improving IT operations. The ideal candidate will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the successful execution of software projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Level 2 desktop support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
* Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
* Support the installation, update, and troubleshooting of operating systems and enterprise applications.
* Monitor and respond to IT support tickets, escalating issues as needed.
* Maintain IT documentation, including asset inventory and user guides.
* Collaborate with IT teams to support cybersecurity best practices and compliance.
* Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and process improvements.
* Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees, ensuring proper IT access and security measures.
* Perform basic network troubleshooting and support remote connectivity (VPN, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
* Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
* Understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common IT hardware and software issues.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist users effectively.
* A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
* Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new tools, and contribute to both program management and development tasks.
