We are looking for a talented Global Key Account Manager, who will be an important player acting as the main point of contact, ensuring seamless warehousing operations across multiple regions and driving customer satisfaction and growth opportunities globally.
The successful candidate for this role will be based in Madrid, with the flexibility to travel globally as required (approximately 30%-40% travel).
We work with the most important clients in the fashion, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, including biopharmaceuticals and the most innovative therapies. We are a large international team, with more than 17,000 employees and more than 92 warehouses spread across more than 20 countries. In Spain, we are more than 1,100 employees of more than 30 nationalities.
WE NEED YOU ABLE TO DO:
1. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain a strong, long-term relationship with the customer at all levels (from operational to C-suite).
2. Act as the main bridge between the client and regional internal teams to ensure service delivery and identify improvement opportunities.
3. Focus on Operational Excellence: Oversee the global warehousing operations for the client, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
4. Collaborate with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure optimal performance and resolve escalations effectively.
5. Ensure a one-page global approach to the customer based on best practice exchange between the internal regional network.
6. Strategic Account Development: Identify new business opportunities and upsell additional services (e.g., value-added services, technology integration, or additional warehouse locations).
7. Prepare and present quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and KPI performance reports to the client.
8. Follow up on the potential requirements of the customer ensuring homogeneous response across the industry and regional management implication.
9. Financial Management: Monitor the account's P&L to ensure profitability while meeting customer expectations.
10. Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with regional teams to maximize value for both parties.
11. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, warehousing, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with the industry strategy.
WE WILL MAKE THE PERFECT MATCH IF YOU HAVE:
1. 5+ years of experience in key account management, ideally in the logistics/supply chain sector.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
3. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.
4. Fluent in speaking and writing in Spanish and English.
