Responsibilities
The Logistics Strategy and Experience Manager will focus on defining and overseeing the ecommerce logistics network setup and operation in target countries, including local-to-local and cross-border business. This includes courier delivery, fulfilment warehouse, reverse logistics, buyer-seller service, and policy, to provide our buyers and sellers with the best logistics solution and experience.
* Be responsible for target country logistics strategy and business growth, enabling new markets logistics network by using existing market practices.
* Define both short-term and long-term strategy and optimal processes to gain better performance for the platform, merchants, consumers, and creators in the target market.
* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, market benchmarking, pricing & competition landscape, warehousing & network design, carrier management, transport, and fulfilment service.
* Coordinate with internal and cross-functional teams, resources, and channels to ensure strategy implementation and launch with high quality to grow our ecosystems in the target country.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* E-commerce logistics and supply chain working experience and background, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role, with a deep understanding of logistics networks and end customer requirements.
* Strong long-term strategic mindset with solid execution and project management skills.
* Experience in launching logistics businesses and managing scalable & efficient logistics networks.
* Data-driven mindset with strong data analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Very familiar with logistics KPI metrics like volume, cost, operational efficiency, SOP, and end-user experience metrics such as lead time and service quality.
* Good understanding of the UK and EU merchant, customer, and e-commerce landscape.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* A proactive, self-motivated, and customer-centric attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
