EBRO is looking for a Materials Engineer Leader, an enthusiastic and autonomous professional for Spain. As a Materials Engineer Leader, you will be responsible for managing all activities regarding materials quality assurance of the legendary EBRO brand (including IMDS system). You will also lead the understanding of the requirements of the RRR regulations and management system, and furthermore be able to lead the RRR management system into the company (including Ebro-Factory).
You will work collaboratively with the entire EBRO team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the factory's RRR management system.
* Control the use of prohibited, restricted, and/or declarable substances (according to European and specific regulations of clients and the automotive sector) in formulations and in the production process.
* Supervise the evaluation process of the prepared data sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the conformity standards, both at the supplier and regulatory level.
* Act as plant manager for the management and administration of the IMDS system.
* Ensure all necessary activities for the right materials quality for all assembled materials in Ebro cars, performing materials testing (if necessary) and/or assuring it through proper materials control/assurance and certification from suppliers.
* Create a materials test and requirements catalog for the Ebro brand.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
* Academic Training: Materials engineering/chemistry, physics degree, or a related field.
* Master's degree is a plus.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and RRR management system.
* Experience: +2 years of experience in the automotive sector.
* Technical Skills: Experience in office software, especially Excel.
* Languages: Spanish and English as a working language. Other European languages and/or Chinese would be a plus.
