* Leading Energy Company specializing in hydrogen projects and hydrogen derivatives including generation of renewable energy, production, transportation, storage and commercialization is looking for a Business Development Sales Manager with experience in trading and fuel commercialization for the maritime and aviation sectors, focusing on methanol, H2 green, its derivatives, and other alternative fuels such as SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
Mission:
* The Business Development Sales Manager will play a key role in driving the growth and commercialization of alternative fuels, including methanol, green hydrogen (H2) and its derivatives, and SAF, within the maritime and aviation sectors.
* This position is responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships, developing long-term agreements, and ensuring the successful trading and commercialization of low-carbon fuels to support the energy transition.
* By leveraging market expertise, industry connections, and strong negotiation skills, the Business Development Sales Manager will expand the company’s presence in international markets, strengthen relationships with offtakers and key stakeholders, and contribute to the company’s sustainability and growth objectives.
Responsabilities:
* Develop and manage strategic relationships with methanol offtakers, H2 green & derivatives stakeholders, airlines, shipping companies, and other key players in the energy sector.
* Identify business opportunities and structure contracts and strategic agreements with clients and commercial partners.
* Lead the commercialization and trading of fuels such as methanol, H2 green, SAF, and other alternative fuels in international markets.
* Negotiate and close deals with maritime and aviation companies/aviation fuel distributors, optimizing commercial terms and maximizing profitability.
* Monitor market trends, environmental regulations, and the competitiveness of alternative and low-carbon fuels.
* Collaborate with internal teams in trading, logistics, and finance to ensure operational and commercial efficiency.
* Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and energy sector events.
Requirements (M/F/D):
* Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in fuel trading or commercialization, ideally in traders' companies or in O&G companies selling fuels to the aviation or maritime sector.
* Knowledge of the logistics value chain from the fuel production site to the end customer, for maritime and aviation fuel.
* knowledge of methanol, H2 green & derivatives, SAF, and other alternative fuels markets.
* Experience in contract structuring, strategic agreements, and stakeholder management.
* Proven negotiation skills and ability to build long-term B2B relationships.
* Strategic vision and analytical skills to assess business opportunities.
* Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial and strategic mindset, with deep knowledge of methanol offtakers and key stakeholders in energy projects, including contract structuring and strategic agreements.
