In this role, you will troubleshoot and maintain Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) instruments, ensuring optimal system performance. You will also collaborate with various teams to enhance service quality and customer experience.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on NGS sequencing systems following documented procedures.Install and decommission NGS sequencing systems at clinical sites in compliance with established protocols.Maintain accurate documentation of service activities.Coordinate service tasks with site personnel and ensure smooth operation.Provide technical phone support and assistance to customers.Assist in resolving technical issues before sequencing system installations.Train colleagues and partners on NGS sequencing system maintenance and servicing.Develop and update service instruction documentation.Recommend design improvements to enhance system reliability, serviceability, and user experience.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.Support manufacturing operations as required.Perform additional duties as assigned.Handle confidential information: Manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.Maintain confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information, including personnel matters,legal documents, financial data, contracts, and other proprietary information.Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience: Proven experience in servicing electro-mechanical systems; prior experience with medical devices is a plus.Technical Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical systems.Soft Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (both written and verbal).Customer Focus: Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor.Software Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Attention to Detail: Ability to strictly follow procedures without deviation.Travel Requirement: Willingness to travelStrong written and verbal communication skills in English
