Global HR Business Partner - Life Sciences

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Spain, supporting both local and global HR initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with local managers to promote a positive workplace culture and drive employee growth.
On a global scale, you will bring experience in multi-country HR operations and strategic execution, providing leadership coaching to senior managers and aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You'll lead organizational development efforts, manage talent frameworks, and facilitate large-scale change initiatives. The role requires strong leadership influence across multiple areas, contributing to the shaping of HR strategies that support business transformation and success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Global support for the Life Sciences business of Acolad, mainly in the US Timezone
* Strategic Alignment with Business Goals: Collaborating with senior leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives and ensure that HR initiatives support business growth, transformation, and performance.
* Organizational Development & Change Management: Leading organizational development initiatives, such as talent management frameworks, employee engagement programs, and large-scale change processes, to enhance organizational effectiveness.
* Support the governance of all HR-related topics in collaboration with the Regional HRBP, ensuring consistency and compliance.
* Apply deep knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in Spain to guide managers and employees effectively.
* Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring exceptional employee experiences.
* Act as a coach to managers, empowering them to foster growth, development, and performance within their teams.
* Drive initiatives to promote a culture of dialogue, feedback, and collaboration within the organization.
* Oversee employee wellbeing and advocate for a healthy, inclusive, and dynamic workplace environment.
* Lead conflict resolution and employee relations, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
* Play a pivotal role in payroll supervision and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
* Travel between our offices in Madrid and Vitoria as needed to ensure a strong HR presence and employee engagement.
* Drive continuous process improvement in HR operations, leveraging tools such as JIRA and SAP to resolve operational demands efficiently.
* Present engaging monthly HR business updates to employees locally, fostering transparency and alignment with company objectives.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in HR business partnering, ideally within multinational and global environments.
* Solid understanding of HR policies, processes, and legal compliance (especially in Spain).
* Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
* Regional or global HR experience: exposure to multi-country HR operations and strategy execution on a global scale.
* Strategic HR business partnering and leadership coaching: deep experience coaching senior managers, driving business transformation and shaping HR strategies aligned with business goals.
* Organizational development and talent management: experience executing large-scale people strategies, talent management frameworks, and organizational change.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach, adept at balancing operational HR duties with long-term HR initiatives.
* Fluency in both English and Spanish (additional languages a plus).
* High emotional intelligence and a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
* Ability to navigate fast-paced environments with adaptability and resilience.
* People leadership: the role demands the ability to influence senior leadership across multiple areas.
